Biography
Dr. Ellex Phillips, MD, MBA, is a primary care physician who began practicing in 2025 after serving as Chief Resident in the IU Health Arnett Family Medicine Residency program. He chose family medicine for its emphasis on long-term relationships and the opportunity to care for patients and their families with compassion and respect. Dr. Phillips treats every patient the way he would want his own family to be treated, striving to provide equitable, high-quality care in a welcoming environment. Known for his thoughtful listening and hands-on problem-solving, he enjoys the close-knit feel of the Greater Lafayette community and the connections he's built through his work. Outside of medicine, Dr. Phillips enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, gardening and building and fixing just about anything.
