Biography
Dr. Emma Cordes is a plastic surgeon with expertise in managing cleft and craniofacial disorders. She currently serves as director of the Cleft and Craniofacial Program at Riley Children's Health, as well as director of the Global Surgery Program at Indiana University Health. She performs reconstructive procedures for a wide range of congenital anomalies and traumatic injuries. Her specialized training gives her expertise in managing patients with cleft lip and palates, craniosynostosis, ear abnormalities and microtia. She also manages a wide range of other conditions including breast anomalies, gynecomastia, vascular malformations, nevi and cysts.
Dr. Cordes obtained her medical degree from Indiana University. She completed plastic surgery residency at University of Minnesota. She obtained additional training in craniofacial surgery at Medical College of Wisconsin. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, gardening, cooking and trying new arts and crafts.
