Herliani Halim, MD

Dr. Herliani Halim earned her medical degree from Universitas Indonesia and completed her internal medicine residency at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois, in 2026. During residency, she was actively involved in quality improvement initiatives, with a particular focus on improving osteoporosis screening and promoting more cost-effective use of routine laboratory testing. She is also passionate about medical education and helping patients better understand their health.

Dr. Halim believes that strong primary care begins with prevention, trust and continuity. She values building long-term relationships with her patients and works collaboratively with them to develop practical, individualized plans that support their health goals and overall well-being.

She provides comprehensive care for a wide range of adult health needs, including:

• Preventive care and routine health maintenance
• Hypertension and high cholesterol
• Cardiovascular conditions
• Diabetes, thyroid disorders and other endocrine conditions

Outside of medicine, Dr. Halim enjoys cooking, watching movies and traveling with her family. Her love of exploring new places also inspired her to create a travel-themed YouTube channel.
