Biography
Dr. Li earned her MD at Capital University of Medical Sciences in Bejing, China. She spent five years studying radiation biology and cancer biology at the University of Iowa, Department of Radiation Oncology, earning her PhD At Montefiore Medical Center in New York, Dr. Li completed her surgery internship. She also completed her radiation oncology residency later at the University of Iowa. Dr. Li is board certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Li has been deeply intrigued by the ever-changing technologies and close interaction with cancer patients in the field of radiation oncology. She chose radiation oncology because the work is both rewarding and challenging. It not only involves complex cancer biology, rapidly evolving sophisticated technology, and minimally invasive treatments but also ignites her passion to take good care of cancer patients. Dr. Li is dedicated to providing evidence-based, high-quality patient care in the community hospital setting, with a desire to implement new advanced technology to the existing practice. Dr. Li loves to garden and go fishing. She is fluent in Mandarin and English.
