Biography
Dr. James C. Miller, MD was born and raised in Iowa. His desire to become a surgeon was developed during medical school rotations where he was awestruck by neurosurgery. Dr. Miller believes neurosurgery is a specialty at the forefront of medicine, continuing to evolve with new technologies and procedures. Dr. Miller is married with three children and enjoys hiking, camping and traveling to U.S. national parks.
Dr. Miller is a board certified neurosurgeon. He earned his medical degree from University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his internship and Neurosurgery residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. After residency, he was awarded the prestigious Van Wagenen Fellowship to study in Tubingen, Germany. Dr. Miller practices neurosurgery at IU Health and is a faculty member of the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Neurological Surgery.
