Biography
James Vollmer, PA-C, is an orthopedic physician assistant with IU Heath who has been in practice since 2007. He chose a career as a physician assistant because of his passion for working closely with patients and helping them navigate some of life’s most challenging health concerns. He is dedicated to partnering with patients to improve their health, enhance their quality of life and achieve the best possible outcomes.
James strives to create a warm and welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns. He believes in a collaborative approach to care, taking time to listen, answering questions and developing personalized treatment plans that align with each patient’s goal and needs.
He enjoys orthopedic medicine because it allows him to build meaningful relationships with patients while providing treatment and procedures that can have a positive impact on their daily lives and long-term mobility.
Outside of work
James enjoys spending time with his family and his dog, playing and watching sports, exploring local restaurants and great dining experiences.
