Biography
Dr. Jignesh Tailor is a pediatric neurosurgeon with expertise in caring for patients with neurosurgical conditions. His special interests include epilepsy and pediatric brain tumors. In addition to pediatric neurosurgery, he leads a research laboratory studying the origin of pediatric brain tumors.
Dr. Tailor chose to specialize in pediatric neurosurgery because of his fascination with science and human biology, specifically the human brain and how it develops. Learn more about Dr. Tailor’s research in identifying therapies for halting brain tumor genesis. Dr. Tailor earned his medical degree from the University of Oxford and has a PhD in Stem Cell Biology from the University of Cambridge. He then completed fellowship training in pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins University Hospital.
Dr. Tailor is passionate about helping children with complex brain and spine disorders. He is married with two children and enjoys swimming, running, and playing with his kids.
