Biography
Kaylene graduated from Duke University in 2014 with Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is Board Certified Specialist in Women's Health Physical Therapy. Her clinical areas of specialty include male and female pelvic health, pregnancy and post-partum rehabilitation, complete decongestive therapy for the treatment of lymphedema, gynecological oncology rehabilitation, and breast cancer rehabilitation.
She has received her certified Lymphedema Therapist certification from the Norton School of Lymphedema and extensive training in pelvic health rehabilitation, including a specialization in pediatrics, from the Herman and Wallace Institute. She also has years of experience as an educator as a physical therapy clinical instructor with IU Health, and clinical teaching assistant with University of Indianapolis, and faculty for Indiana University School of Medicine's Urogynecology Fellowship.
Kaylene is continually learning and acquiring advanced clinical skills in order to provider excellent patient centered care. She is certified in dry needling, visceral mobilization, biofeedback, rehabilitative ultrasound imaging, and ASTYM. She enjoys equipping patients with self-care strategies throughout the lifespan.
