Biography
With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Langer chose radiation oncology because he is able to methodically plan strategies and approaches to treatment for his patients. His practice philosophy of producing options and finding a way to compare them with his patients gives them choices.
Dr. Langer is a longtime associate editor for the journal Radiology. He is also a reviewer and recipient of numerous scientific grants for his work in mathematical programming in radiation planning. He is active in developing examination materials for radiation oncology and has been honored for his teaching.
Dr. Langer received his medical degree from the University of Chicago. He completed his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and an internship at Henry Ford Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Langer is an avid chess player and bicyclist.
