Biography
Dr. Mary E. Lester completed her plastic surgery training in Charleston, South Carolina, with one of the pioneers of breast reconstruction, Dr. Robert Allen. Dr. Lester then spent six months training with Dr. Allen, perfecting techniques for deep inferior epigastric perforator artery (DIEP) flap breast reconstruction.
Dr. Lester also enjoys performing reconstructive surgery for problems all over the body from cancer, trauma and complex wounds.
