Melissa A. Gwin, NP, PMHNP-BC

Melissa Gwin, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, began her nursing practitioner journey in 2008, working extensively in internal medicine, which provided a solid foundation for her future endeavors. With a longstanding interest in mental health, she returned to school to obtain her PMHNP degree, driven by the belief that there is a significant opportunity to enhance mental health services. Gwin is committed to providing patients with accurate, evidence-based medical information, empowering them to make informed healthcare decisions. She wants her patients to know that improving one's mental health can be a very personal and sometimes difficult journey, and it is her goal to always strive to work with every patient to provide the best individualized care possible. Raised in the Lafayette community, she has worked in various settings as a family nurse practitioner in Indiana and is excited to bring her career back to her hometown to give back to her community. In her free time, Gwin enjoys hiking, camping, quilting, reading and spending time with her family.
