Biography
Michelle L. Catt, NP, specializes in family medicine. She began her career at Riley Children’s Health in 2000 as a student nurse while she worked to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University.
Catt spent the next decade working for IU Health University Hospital in the medical-surgical unit before spending another 14 years caring for veterans in a small primary care clinic. Her time working in primary care inspired her to go back to school and begin her nurse practitioner journey, so in 2018, she graduated from Indiana University once more, with a Master of Science in Nursing and a focus in Adult and Geriatric Primary Care.
She finds passion in her current work by educating and empowering patients to make decisions through evidence-informed information. Her hope is that her practice will leave patients feeling heard, understood and that the care provided has met their current needs.
Outside of work, Catt has been married for over two decades with three, now adult sons, and two French Bulldogs. Together, they love to travel, hike, eat and explore. She loves to trail run, train, read, visit local shops and bake for her family. Catt also loves podcasts, which combine her more active interests and hobbies with learning and staying up to date with the most current information.
