As a high school student, Dr. Narges Zandvakil, MD was captivated by the intricacies of the eye and the process of vision. She was particularly fascinated by how eye doctors could correct various visual deficiencies. This curiosity led her to pursue medical school with the goal of becoming an ophthalmologist. During her residency, she discovered the complexities of diagnosing and treating glaucoma, which truly captured her interest and deepened her commitment to this field. It also allows her to build long-term relationships with patients while addressing their unique visual needs.
