Biography
Rosalie Carr, MD, MS, FACS, currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery. Dr. Carr received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her General Surgery Residency at Indiana University, and her surgical fellowship in advanced GI, minimally Invasive, and bariatric surgery at Indiana University. She received her master's in clinical research at Indiana University during residency. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
Her clinical focus is on bariatric surgery and minimally invasive surgery, including hiatal or paraesophageal hernias, gastroesophageal reflux, and other foregut diseases, as well as abdominal wall hernias and other gastrointestinal conditions.
Dr. Carr is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT) and the American Medical Association (AMA).
