Biography
Rudy F. Schmiedecke, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist with advanced certification in micrographic dermatologic surgery, providing comprehensive skin care with a focus on precision and compassion. His clinical interests include cutaneous malignancy treatment, acne scarring, laser medicine, and hidradenitis suppurativa, areas where he combines technical expertise with a patient-centered approach. He is especially passionate about cutaneous oncology, where early detection and thoughtful intervention can lead to life-changing, often curative results. Dr. Schmiedecke strives to meet each patient where they are, grounding his practice in honesty, integrity and reliability. A former Naval Officer of 12 years who achieved the rank of Commander, he now calls Central Indiana home, where he enjoys cooking, fishing, hiking, camping and being active in his church community with his wife and children.
