Biography

Dr. Sara Habib, MD, is a seasoned specialist in neurology and epilepsy at IU Health. A graduate of Ziauddin Medical University, she pursued a research fellowship in neurocritical care and neuroradiology for 2 years at Thomas Jefferson University and University of Pennsylvania, then completed her residency in neurology at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and further specialized in epilepsy during her fellowship at Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Boston Children Hospital. Since 2013, she has been empowering her patients to reclaim their quality of life by addressing neurological deficits that affect their livelihoods and sense of self. Dr. Habib's practice philosophy is a fusion of compassionate care and scientific rigor, emphasizing patient education and personalized, evidence-based treatment plans. After gaining diverse experiences across small and large communities, and with specialized training in epilepsy from Harvard, she is well-equipped to provide comprehensive care in Indiana. Dr. Habib chose to practice at her current location due to its warm, collaborative community and access to advanced medical resources. When not unraveling the mysteries of the brain, she enjoys lakeside picnics, beach reading, bargain shopping and cooking creative omelets from leftovers.
