Biography
Sarah Stainko MSN FNP-C is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in gastroenterology at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her clinical interests include gastric motility disorders such as achalasia and gastroparesis, along with diseases of the pancreas, including chronic pancreatitis and the management of pancreatic cysts.
She has a special interest in third space endoscopy and is the nurse practitioner for Destination Services Innovative Endoscopy and Motility program which includes POEM, GPOEM, gastric electrical stimulation therapies.
Sarah received her master's degree from Northern Kentucky University. She is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Sarah is an advanced practice provider committee member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and a member of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates which she is the program planning committee chair for the national conference.
