Biography
Dr. Shaohui Liu has special clinical interests in cornea and ocular surface diseases, dry eye syndrome, full- and partial-thickness corneal transplantation, keratoprosthesis, cataract surgery and laser vision correction. She enjoys working with patients to provide the best care for vision restoration and comfort. Dr. Liu also speaks Mandarin.
Dr. Liu is an internationally recognized clinician-scientist and specialist in cornea and external eye disease. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Qingdao University in Qingdao, China. After developing an innovative research program, she completed a residency in ophthalmology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, La., followed by her cornea, refractive surgery and external diseases fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School in Boston, Ma.
