Biography
Whitney Harrison is a physical therapist and has a doctorate in physical therapy. Her certifications include ASTYM, dry needling and CI instructor with specialties specifically in dry needling and ASTYM. Her background is as an adult outpatient physical therapist at IU Health Saxony Hospital.
She has been at IU Health since 2012 and has more than 10 years of experience. She can provide both dry needling or ASTYM if it is deemed appropriate for the patient's specific pain and situation. She spent a year working part-time at Riley in pediatrics but now works full-time in adult outpatient physical therapy. She has several years of experience as a clinical instructor. She is highly skilled in treating patients with acute and chronic injuries of the shoulder, ankle, knee, hip and spine.
She is a busy mom and outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and traveling to national parks to hike. Whitney loves being able to educate patients on how to decrease their pain and get back to activities they enjoy. A few fun facts are that she has been both skydiving and scuba diving.
