Biography

Dr. Zachary S. Meyer, MD, is a hematologist at the Adult Academic Health Center in Indianapolis, IN, specializing in bone marrow transplantation. Dr. Meyer uses hematopoietic stem cell transplantation to treat hematologic malignancies and bone marrow failure syndromes, including:

  • Acute myeloid leukemia
  • Myelodysplastic syndromes
  • Acute lymphoblastic leukemia
  • Chronic myeloid leukemia
  • Myelofibrosis and myeloproliferative neoplasms
  • Hodgkin Lymphoma
  • Non-Hodgkin lymphoma
  • Aplastic anemia

Dr. Meyer is also involved in the treatment of relapsed and refractory germ cell tumors utilizing high-dose chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplantation.

A proud Hoosier from Batesville, IN, Dr. Meyer completed his undergraduate studies, medical school, Internal Medicine Residency, Chief Residency and Hematology/Oncology Fellowship all at Indiana University. Outside of medicine, Dr. Meyer spends his time with his family and enjoys running, exercising, playing golf, reading and cheering on IU athletics and the Indiana Pacers.
