Get your free influenza vaccine in the south central region before flu season hits

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Flu season is almost here. Get your flu vaccine at your earliest opportunity and protect yourself, friends, family, and community members.

“It can take two weeks for the influenza vaccine to create antibodies in a person,” said Amy Meek, MSN, RN with IU Health Community Health. “That’s why getting the shot before flu season hits is really important.”
