IU Health Frankfort expands infusion offerings

Frankfort, Ind. – Chemotherapy infusion services are now offered at Indiana University Health Frankfort Hospital Monday – Friday, allowing more patients to receive this important treatment closer to home.

This increase comes less than a year after Frankfort Hospital first launched chemotherapy services.

“Previously, we offered chemotherapy three days per week at our Frankfort infusion center,” says Ashley Kunkle, IU Health Arnett Cancer Services practice manager.

“Patients who had a chemotherapy regimen that consisted of three or more consecutive days couldn’t utilize our Frankfort location. Now, patients have that option.”
