Barbara Fanklin feels like herself again after wig fitting

Barbara Franklin didn’t cry when doctors diagnosed her with breast cancer.

The tears came later when she learned she’d soon lose her hair.

“The lady said, yes, the chemo will make you lose your hair… It made me cry really, really hard,” Barbara shared.

At IU Health Simon Cancer Center, she met Shar Brown, a wig bank appearance consultant who helped her find a style that made her feel like herself again.
