IU Health South Central Region is proud to recognize their first BEE Award recipient, Tara Bair, MA, with IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians Family and Internal Medicine in Bedford!
Bair was nominated by a patient who felt the medical assistant (MA) truly cared about their well-being and says they are "so grateful for the care given and the concern and kindness."
The BEE Award was created to complement the DAISY Award for registered nurses, and was designed to celebrate the hardworking, positive, and kindhearted MAs who support clinics, give excellent patient care, and uphold the IU Health Values of Compassion, Team, Excellence, and Purpose.
"I am beyond thrilled to have the honor of awarding and celebrating these medical assistants with my co-coordinator Brandy Hunt every quarter," says Ashley Harden, Certified Medical Assistant III, Certified Phlebotomy Technician, MA III Leadership Team, BEE Award Co-Coordinator, MA III Governance Council. "We couldn't have done it without the support of Chip Johnson VP-CPO, Cindy Herrington VP-CNO, Nichole Hickman D-NP, and all the Service Line Administrators in the SCR."
