Caring for a whole community

On Thursday, Aug. 14, IU Health Bedford Hospital was recognized by the Bedford Chamber of Commerce as its Business Hall of Fame member for 2025.

“We are proud of the service we have provided to the community over 50 years,” says Larry Bailey, chief operating officer for Bedford, Morgan and Paoli. “We have a dedicated team at IU Health Bedford and this award is wonderful recognition of their dedication and service to our patients and the community.”

“Congratulations to all of our team members, past and present, who have contributed in so many ways to caring for this community over the decades,” says Amy Little, Bedford chief nursing officer. “It is your hard work, dedication, and heart for caring for others that has made this such a special and long-standing part of the community.”

During the Chamber’s award celebration, the hospital team was recognized for its economic impact, community leadership and treatment of patients and the community as a whole.
