Celebrating new Mosaic Center aimed to train tomorrow's healthcare workers

IU Health joined state, and local leaders to cut the ribbon on Indianapolis' new Mosaic Center space in the heart of the Indy Health District. The Mosaic Center is a community-based career center powered by IU Health that provides free career training and financial coaching to people who are interested in building promising careers in healthcare. "We are looking to engage those in our community who are unemployed and also our own IU Health staff who are looking to scale up," said Shadreck Kamwendo, The Mosaic Center's director of workforce development. "This center will serve individuals who are beginning complex life transitions, those who are reentering the workforce, those who are seeking to build new skills and those who are overcoming systemic barriers."
