More Than an Athletic Trainer: Dam Bae’s Impact at Pike High School

March is National Athletic Training Month, and we’re excited to feature yet another one of our amazing athletic Trainers- Dam Bae! Dam supports student athletes at Pike High School. He's often the first on the scene of an on-field injury. He's also one of the school's three athletic trainers who manage longer term treatment protocols. "Working in a high school requires a little more than just being an athletic trainer. I think it requires you to be more of an adult-type [figure] to teach students life skills like saying hi to people and saying thank-you. I like having that multi-layered relationship with the students."
