Infusion Therapy
Infusion therapy delivers medication or fluids intravenously (into the veins) or subcutaneously (under the skin).
Cori Pflug is a nurse at Methodist Hospital's outpatient infusion center. "We care for patients with different types of cancers... but we also treat a lot of iron deficient patients, patients who need B-12 injections, just a wide variety of things," said Cori. "Being with the patients and just putting a smile on their face is super rewarding."
