Patient rediscovers her voice after stroke

McKinzie Carrender came to IU Health's neurorehabilitation team after experiencing a stroke that left her with right-sided weakness and speech deficits. "When I first came here I couldn't walk right, I couldn't talk right. I did physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy," said McKinzie. "It was important to me that somebody actually cared about this. All of them were great."
