Regional CNO trains for Mini-Marathon in her dad's memory

Woman runs on a treadmill in a fitness center.

Carrie Wing is one of IU Health's regional chief nursing officers. She's also an avid runner who is currently training for this year's IU Health 500 Festival Mini-Marathon. She runs in memory of her late father who, Carrie says, always got his runs in. "We just always knew dad was going to do his 3-4 mile run in the afternoon," said Carrie. "People who are runners have goals and they have discipline and my dad had a lot of that in a lot of different avenues of his life. After he died I needed some of that... so I thought, you know I'm just going to start running and I'm going to do it in his memory."
