Shane Moylan- from cancer patient to cancer nurse

Doctors diagnosed Shane Moylan with cancer twice before he finished high school. Years of chemotherapy and radiation brought him into remission and brought him close to the nurses who cared for him.

Today, Shane is a nurse at IU Health Simon Cancer Center, the very place where he once received treatment.

“I never thought, looking back ten years ago, I’d be a nurse working where I was once a patient. Something in me always wanted to give back.”
