A limited number of REACH Loans may be available for students who have been accepted into one of the Health Sciences Education Programs offered by IU Health. Loan information and applications are provided to the students in the program acceptance packets. Availability of the loans varies each year based on a variety of criteria determined by IU Health.
In Nursing, a limited number of REACH Loans are available to Patient Care Intern (formerly known as Student Nurse Externs—SNE) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who are currently working at IU Health. Learn more about eligibility and application information for LPN or Patient Care Intern.
All REACH loans require a signed commitment to work for IU Health for a specified period of time upon graduation from their professional program.
Methodist Task Core Nursing Scholarships — The Methodist Foundation Task Core Nurses Continuing Education Committee is responsible for studying the needs for funding continuing education for Methodist Hospital employees who are seeking practical, undergraduate, or graduate nursing education.
Each April, The Methodist Hospital Task Core awards scholarships to Methodist Hospital employees interested in furthering their education in nursing who apply and meet the established criteria. Brochures about the application process are available each January, through the Methodist Health Foundation and Methodist Hospital Task Core at 1800 North Capitol, Noyes Pavilion, 6th Floor. You may also request a brochure by email or by mailing a request to PO Box 7168, Indianapolis, IN 46207-7168.
