Our dedicated team is equipped to treat minor illnesses and injuries when your primary care provider is unable to treat you.
IU Health Bedford Walk-In is located on the first floor of the Medical Office Building attached to the back side of IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Our Services
We treat many minor illnesses and injuries, including:
- Minor cuts
- Flu/COVID-19/strep/RSV testing
- Earache
- Cough
- Sinus issues
- Minor skin irritations
- Sprains
Do I need an appointment?
No appointment is necessary. Walk-in visits are available 7 am - 6:30 pm Monday - Saturday, and 11 - 5 pm Sunday.
Amenities
If required, we offer on-site lab and radiology services with no appointment needed.

Parking
Parking is located in front of the medical office building entrance.
Billing & Insurance
We accept most major commercial health insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid. Please contact your insurance carrier prior to your visit to determine coverage. Services will be billed, and payment is not due at the time of service. IU Health offers a Financial Assistance Program to those who are self-pay and qualify.

Walk-in clinics are a cost-effective option compared to many other services. The cost of walk-in care is determined by the patient’s copay and level of treatment required. The cost is less than an Emergency Department visit. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

Yes, x-ray services are available at walk-in locations.

The Bedford Walk-In opens at 7 am, Monday - Saturday, and 11 am on Sunday.

No, Viagra (sildenafil) prescriptions are not available.

Yes, the walk-in clinic will do an STD test.
Do walk-in locations treat ingrown toenails?
Yes, a provider will prescribe antibiotics and refer you to a podiatrist for further treatment.
