Physical Therapy
At IU Health we aim to provide comprehensive physical therapy and rehabilitation. Our services include traditional and non-traditional approaches to physical therapy to treat common and uncommon conditions, including:

Speech-Language Pathology Services
We provide speech and language services and treatment of swallowing disorders. We assess both children and adults in the following areas:

- Voice disorders
Evaluation and treatment of swallowing disorders include:
- Bedside/outpatient swallowing evaluation
- Modified barium swallow studies

We will review any previous medical records or radiology results and evaluate your overall health and fitness. Once your needs and goals have been established, you and your team will work together to design an appropriate treatment plan. We will keep you informed along the way—answering any questions or concerns—and make sure you are prepared for every appointment and beyond.
How to schedule an appointment
A referral from your provider may be needed before your visit. You may call the IU Health Central Scheduling phone number at 800.248.1199 or contact us directly at 317.962.0270.
Insurance
IU Health accepts most insurance plans. We recommended that you verify your benefits and eligibility before your visit.
Preparing for your visit
To make the most out of your appointment, here are some helpful tips to help prepare you for your first visit.
- Have your provider send medical records to us before your scheduled visit or bring the information with you during your visit. These may be sent via fax or through the mail.
- Bring any post-operative instructions if you have recently had surgery.
- Bring insurance card(s) and identification.
- Bring a list of current medications, including over-the-counter medicines.
- If you have had any imaging procedures such as X-ray, CT or MRI, be sure to bring reports or films with you. You may also have them sent to us by your provider.
- Wear comfortable, loose, clothing that you can move around in and allows access to injury or surgical site, if applicable.
- Arrive 15 minutes early to complete any outstanding paperwork.
Parking
Parking is available in Garage 2. You will enter Methodist Professional Center 1 and proceed to the elevators. You will take the elevators to the 5th floor and walk your way to suite 530.
You will receive validation for your parking that is good up to two hours.
