Olcott Center Cancer Navigation Team Updates

The Olcott Building on 1st Street closed on Feb. 11. Some of our navigation team focusing on breast cancer and our secretary will be located at 1010 W. 2nd Street. We currently have one navigator that focuses on survivorship located at 508 W. 2nd Street.

Some of our navigation team that focuses on all cancers has moved to the new IU Health Bloomington hospital. They are currently located on the 1st floor of the Cancer Services Department.

Our phone numbers have not changed. This summer, all our navigation team will be at the new hospital so we can continue to see patients where they are receiving services.

We are moving closer to the people we serve while fulfilling the vision and promise of the Olcott Center — whether it is at the oncologist's office, in the Infusion Center, in the surgery department or even meeting the patients after biopsy results at an off-site location within Bloomington.

Oncology certified, registered nurse educators provide one-on-one education with clients and their family members.

The center offers an extensive lending library, weekly support groups, genetics education, patient advocacy and some individualized financial assistance. Free educational talks and materials are always available to groups, schools, businesses and individuals.

The Olcott Center services are free thanks to generous support from our community. Although a physician may refer you to the Center, you never need a referral to take advantage of our services. Located in Bloomington, 619 W. First St., the Center serves all of south central Indiana.
