At IU Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Muncie, you will receive expert care centered around your specific needs.

Our board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons believe in treating you as a whole person and not just a symptom. You will have access to a broad range of orthopedic and sports medicine services, including in-office imaging, physical therapy and surgery.

Walk-In Services

We offer walk-in access to our orthopedic experts five days a week from 7:30 am - 4 pm Monday - Thursday and Friday 7:30 am - 12 pm. At our walk-in location we can treat you for recent injuries that might otherwise go to an urgent care or emergency room, such as:

  • Sports injuries
  • Sprains
  • Fractures
  • Recent pain in bones or joints
  • Swelling in knee, ankle or other joints

There are on-site X-ray services available. If your condition is long-term or chronic, please make an appointment to see one of our orthopedic specialists.

In order to be seen on a walk-in basis, please bring identification and your insurance card.

We are able to treat children 5+ with our Walk-In services.

Same Day Appointments

We know your time is valuable. If you have a new injury in the past two weeks, we will gladly schedule an appointment on the same day or the next day so you can receive expert care when it is convenient.
