First in Indiana: robotic-assisted shoulder replacement

IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital is the first hospital in Indiana to offer robotic-assisted shoulder replacement surgery. “We’re very excited at Ball to offer this very innovative technology to the state of Indiana,” said Dr. Jacob J. Triplet, orthopedic surgeon. “I think what we’re going to see is perfectly placed components and outcomes that are going to more accurately match our preoperative plan and ultimately give our patients as good of an outcome as possible.”
