IU Health primary care physicians provide primary healthcare for the entire family - infants and children, teens, adults and seniors. In addition, providers at this practice location offer comprehensive obstetric services and prenatal care.

This practice is home to the IU School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency program. Resident physicians work alongside our IU Health Physicians to care for patients. Residents are trainees who have completed four years of medical school and are now specializing in becoming Family Medicine physicians. Residents are always under the supervision of the attending physician. Through this collaboration, patients benefit from improved access to healthcare, as well as the expertise of a full provider care team. Our highly skilled, diverse care team of physicians, advanced practice providers and residents is dedicated to getting and keeping you well through all stages of life.

From preventive medicine to promoting healthy lifestyles, we offer services that fit your busy schedule.

From the moment you step into our office, we want to ensure you have a seamless and comfortable experience. During a typical appointment, our care team will do the following:

  • Discuss any concerns you may have
  • Review your medical and family history
  • Check your vitals
  • Provide the necessary medical support
  • Help you navigate any specialty care

Insurance

IU Health accepts most insurance plans. We recommend that you verify your benefits and eligibility with your insurance company before your visit.

Preparing for Your Appointment

Prior to your appointment, please bring the following:

  • Insurance and identification card(s)
  • Bring a copy of relevant medical records
  • A list of current medications, including over-the-counter medicines and supplements

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete any outstanding paperwork.

  • Handicap accessibility
  • Lab and radiology services in the building
  • Retail pharmacy services on the first floor of IU Health Arnett Hospital
  • Coffee shop in the building
  • Gift shop and cafeteria in the building

Parking

We offer free on-site parking for patients. Parking is accessible at the Medical Services Office near Entrance 5 of IU Health Arnett Hospital.

The My IU Health patient portal makes it easy for you to navigate to self-schedule appointments with select providers, send messages to your care team, view results and pay a bill.

This model of primary care combines teamwork and information technology to improve care, improve patients’ experience of care and reduce costs. Medical homes foster ongoing partnerships between patients and their personal clinicians.

Each patient’s care is overseen by clinician-led care teams that coordinate treatment across the healthcare system. In addition, primary care locations offer early morning, evening and weekend appointment availability to best accommodate patient scheduling needs.

For patients not able to access their primary care provider, after-hours care is also available through urgent care and walk-in services
