Our team provides a range of counseling options from meeting with an outpatient therapist to participating in group therapy, the professionals at IU Health Psychiatry - Muncie can develop a treatment plan that meets your needs. Our professional and highly skilled team includes psychologists, licensed social workers, licensed clinical social workers, licensed mental health counselors, psychiatrists, and a child psychiatrist.

Preparing for Your Visit

During the visit, we want to make the most of your visit with us, to do that please:

  • Arrive 15 minutes early to complete any outstanding paperwork
  • Have your providers send your medical records to our office. They may send via fax or through the mail. You may also bring a copy of your medical records with you
  • Bring your current list of medications. If you are unsure, bring your medications with you in a bag. We will go through them together
  • Bring insurance card(s) and identification
  • If you have any questions about insurance coverage, please contact our office and we can assist you
  • We apologize for any delays on returning your phone call

    Parking

    Parking is available directly outside of the building.

    If you have difficulty locating our office, don’t hesitate to call our offices for assistance.

    What to Expect

    When you arrive, you will be greeted by our compassionate staff. This will be your first stop to check in for your appointment, answer any questions and connect you to your provider.

    Our staff will help to arrange your future sessions, reach out to you with appointment reminders and help you navigate the process of receiving your care.

    If you’re coming in for your first appointment, you will complete a brief intake packet.

    After you complete your initial paperwork, you will meet with one of our clinical team members to complete your intake, treatment plan and create a strategy for your ongoing care.
