At IU Health Urgent Care - Brownsburg, here’s how we’re caring for you so we can meet your urgent care needs during this time:
For Save a Spot patients: You’ll receive a link to our online registration to complete before your visit. For respiratory patients, we will call you ahead of time to do a pre-visit screening. Send us a text when you arrive, wait in your car, and we’ll text you when it’s time to come inside to your exam room.
For walk-in patients: Once you are checked in, you’ll be provided a link for online registration, so you, too, can wait in the privacy of your vehicle. (If you need registration assistance, we can assist you inside or at your car.)
Waiting room: If you would prefer to wait inside, our waiting rooms have been set up for social distancing.
Facemasks: All patients and visitors are required to wear facemasks. If you do not have a mask, we will provide one to you.
Visitors: To help ensure the safety of patients and staff, visitors are not allowed at this time. If the patient is a minor or is in need of assistance, one person can accompany the patient for the visit.

IU Health Urgent Care is proud to offer convenient access to care to all of Indiana's veterans. Urgent Care is an excellent option if you are experiencing a medical condition that is not life-threatening. Examples that are not life-threatening include:
Urgent Care facilities are designed to treat medical conditions that are not life-threatening. Emergency Rooms are designed to treat medical conditions that are life-threatening or could result in permanent disability.
Our Urgent Care facilities do offer sports and camp physicals. If your school or camp requires a signature from an MD, please contact the Urgent Care to ensure an MD is available. (NOT required for IHSAA physical forms.)
In addition to simply walking in, we do offer a “Save a Spot” option that allows you to save your spot in line and decrease your wait time at the Urgent Care facility rather than making an appointment.
Urgent care is designed to supplement your primary care. Your Primary Care Physician plays a valuable role in managing your long-term health care, while Urgent Care is designed to take care of your immediate and urgent medical needs.
For insured patients, we collect your deductible and/or your co-pay at the time of service, and then bill your insurer for you. After your insurer sends an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to us, IU Health Urgent Care will bill you for any balance still due. If you don’t have insurance coverage, our rates are very affordable for self-pay patients.
