Safe Drug Disposal Available

Dispose of unused medications safely and securely by using the drug take back bin at this IU Health pharmacy. You can dispose over-the-counter and prescription medications, including controlled substances. Hours are 7 am - 6 pm Mon-Fri and 8 am - 2 pm on Saturday.

*Please note: Sharps disposal is prohibited. Medication must be in its original container.

Indiana University Health Retail Pharmacies are licensed pharmacies with the ability to fill medications in the state of Indiana and other selected states. The Indiana University Health Retail Pharmacies will only dispense a prescription to a person who has a valid prescription issued for legitimate medical purposes based upon a medical relationship with a prescribing practitioner, which includes at least one prior in-person medical evaluation or medical evaluation via telemedicine.
