Infusion Services
Our infusion center is located on site. Oncology-trained nurses administer medications, chemotherapy, fluids and specialized treatments through your vein. Our infusion therapy team provides for you while meeting all the needs and safety requirements of those with cancer.
Cancer Support Services
At IU Health Bedford, we provide supportive services to help ease the stress of a cancer diagnosis. Through our partnership with Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services and Cancer Support Community of South-Central Indiana they help to provide assistance and services for our patients including:
- Support groups
- Wigs and wig fitting
- Transportation assistance
- Financial assistance for qualifying patients
- Medical equipment
- Nutritional supplements
- Spiritual and emotional support
