Dr. Whipp has been practicing medicine since 2013. He joined IUHP Cardiology in 2021 after completing his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Arizona. As a general cardiologist, his clinical focus includes treatment and management of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, heart arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, valvular heart disease and cardiovascular prevention. He is board certified in cardiac computed tomography (CCTA), nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. When Dr. Whipp is not at work he enjoys spending time with his family, visiting National Parks, running and volunteering at his local church.
