Biography

Amir Tirmizi, MD, began practicing medicine in 2004. Coming from a family with a strong medical background, Dr. Tirmizi always knew he wanted to be a doctor. He was drawn to general medicine and later specialized in infectious disease due to his interest in dealing with a variety of medical cases and the potential to cure most infections. Dr. Tirmizi finds infectious disease particularly rewarding because most infections are curable, and those that are not are controllable. Dr. Tirmizi is committed to contributing to research that can lead to innovative solutions for pressing health issues and is always available to healthcare providers who need his expertise. In his free time, he stays active with Taekwondo, Jui Jitsu and kickboxing.
