Dr. David Roe’s area of clinical practice is pulmonary/critical care medicine at IU Health North Hospital. He is an associate clinical professor of medicine in the IU School of Medicine’s Division of Pulmonary Medicine.
Dr. Roe received his MD degree from Southern Illinois University and completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Michigan State University. He completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at IU School of Medicine and IU Health Methodist Hospital.
His areas of clinical research include chronic rejection in lung transplant recipients and treating lung failure in adults. He serves on multiple committees nationally including the American Society of Transplantation’s OPTN/UNOS Policy Committee and the American Thoracic Society/American College of Chest Physicians’ Clinical Practice Committee.
