Biography
Dr. Hajra Awwab, MD is a dedicated specialist in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at IU Health Cardiology. From a young age, Dr. Awwab was drawn to science in school, particularly neuroscience and cardiac medicine, inspired by her family's history with heart issues. In her role, she finds great satisfaction in meeting patients and assisting them with their cardiac needs, as well as performing hands-on procedures. She strongly believes in the importance of preventative care and early intervention for maintaining heart health. In her free time, Dr. Awwab finds love in outdoor activities such as swimming, tennis, golf and she also enjoys painting.
