Biography
Dr. Jessica Parker joined IU Health in September 2021 after completing her fellowship training at the University of Texas Southwestern in June 2021.
Dr. Parker chose to be an oncologist at a very young age after experiencing the loss of a loved one to cancer. Gynecologic Oncology provides her the opportunity to create a bond with patients and their families through all aspects of their care including through surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, palliative care, and during remission. While she is interested in all aspects of gynecologic oncology, her specific focus is on endometrial and cervical cancers.
In Dr. Parker's free time she enjoys running, dancing, and learning new cooking or baking techniques. She is also married to a physician and met her husband in a multidisciplinary meeting discussing how to best treat patients with gynecological cancers.
