Education and Training

Dr. Leasure earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He completed a Transitional Year Residency at Firelands Regional Medical Center and a residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Indiana University School of Medicine. He then completed specialized Sports Medicine Fellowship training at Nationwide Children's Hospital. He also earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of Toledo and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Astronomy from The Ohio State University, with an emphasis in Biophysics and Biomedical Physics.

Research and Professional Involvement

Dr. Leasure has contributed to numerous research publications and national presentations in sports medicine, rehabilitation and medical science. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
