Biography
Kathryn “Kate” Calhoun, PA-C, has been providing patients-centered care since 2009. Inspired by a lifelong connection to healthcare, she pursued a career as a physician assistant after growing up in a family dedicated to helping others. Her mother worked as a registered nurse, and her father has been a lifelong member of the National Ski Patrol. These experiences fostered her passion for medicine and led her to a profession that combines meaningful patient relationships with high-quality care.
Kate is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for every patient she sees. She believes patients should feel heard, informed, and reassured throughout their care journey. During an appointment, she takes the time to listen to concerns, discuss potential diagnoses and develop a personalized treatment plan designed to help patients better understand their condition and next steps.
One of them most rewarding aspects of Kate’s role is helping patients navigate challenging situations. She values the opportunity to meet patients during difficult times, works collaboratively to determine the best course of treatment and provide the guidance and confidence they need to move forward.
Outside of work
Kate enjoys spending time with her family and staying active outdoors. She also enjoys going to the gym with her husband and is a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan. Go Birds!
