Biography
Nikki Melchi is a speech-language pathologist with over 10 years of experience at IU Health. She works in both inpatient and outpatient departments to assess and treat patients with conditions ranging from dysphagia to aphasia.
She is a Ball State University graduate with BA in speech-language pathology & audiology and a MA in speech-language pathology. Her specialties include augmentative and alternative communication and traumatic brain injury along with other neurological diseases. Her favorite thing about health care is being able to meet new people and work to tailor their treatment specifically to their needs.
Nikki loves forming relationships with patients and becoming a part of their rehab journey. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with family, entertaining and traveling.
